2026: Awarded to Dr. Tara Gomes and Dr. Mina Tadrous by the University of Toronto in recognition of their work with the ODPRN, transforming real-world evidence into drug policy that improves medication access, safety, and system sustainability, shaping public decisions and health outcomes across Canada and internationally. 2019: Canada Research Chair in Drug Policy Research and Evaluation awarded to Dr. Tara Gomes by CIHR.
2017: Tara Gomes received the award for the paper “Sensitivity and specificity of administrative mortality data for identifying prescription opioid-related deaths” published in CMAJ. The award was presented at the 2017 Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research conference in Toronto on May 26.
