W. Victor Johnston Award

2016: Awarded to Dr. Rick Glazier by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. The award recognizes a renowned Canadian or international family medicine leader for continuous and enduring contributions to the specialty of family medicine in Canada or abroad.

Top 20 Pioneers in Family Medicine Research in Canada

2015: Dr. Rick Glazier recognized by The College of Family Physicians of Canada for his work using health administrative data at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES).

Fellow, Canadian Academy of Health Sciences

2014: Dr. Rick Glazier named 2014 Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Election to fellowship in the Academy is considered one of the highest honours in the Canadian health sciences community.

Award for Outstanding Contribution to Family Medicine Research

2011/2012: Awarded to Dr. Rick Glazier by the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto for his research focused on health equity at the levels of population health, clinical care, healthy neighbourhoods, and health systems. The impact of his work has included bylaw and zoning changes in Peel Region with the goal of building healthier communities and participating at the highest levels in the evaluation and reform of primary healthcare policy in Ontario.
