Topic: Parkinson disease progression measures in health services data: laying the groundwork for studying exposure to PGK1as and Parkinson disease in randomized controlled trials
Learning Objectives:
- Determine whether Parkinson Disease (PD) patients likely to be recruited in randomized controlled trials are representative of the broader Parkinson Disease population?
- Test the association between the Movement Disorders Society Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale and measures of PD progression from health services data, in order to assess the suitability of administrative data-derived measures in future trial extension studies.
- Assess the relationship between phosphoglycerate kinase 1 activators and measures of PD progression (time to PD milestones) in the real-world setting by emulating a target trial.
