Biography

Dr. Kurdyak joined ICES in April 2009 where he leads a mental health services research initiative. He is director of health systems research at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Dr. Kurdyak received his MD from the University of Toronto in 1997. He completed his psychiatry specialty training at the University of Toronto in 2003 and then completed a PhD in clinical epidemiology in the Health Policy, Management and Evaluation Program at the University of Toronto in 2008. Key research interests are mental health services research, psychiatric and medical comorbidity and barriers to mental healthcare.
