Senior Core Scientist (Full Status) ICES Central Cardiovascular Research Program
Peter Austin joined ICES in 1997 and is currently a senior scientist in the Cardiovascular Research Program and Chronic Disease and Pharmacotherapy Research Program. He is also a full professor in the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. His research interests are in statistical methods for health services and clinical epidemiology research. His work is currently supported by an operating grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and by a Career Investigator Award from the Heart and Stroke Foundation. He has published extensively in both the methodological literature and in the medical and health services literature.
