Understanding of the quantity and nature of health services utilization of older adults living with health conditions
Summary
In order to facilitate planning for geriatric clinical services in Ontario, the Provincial Geriatrics Leadership Office aims to examine the use of health services among older adults living with complex health conditions, and to compare it among recipients and non-recipients of health services from geriatric medicine specialists, geriatric psychiatry specialists, care of the elderly primary care physicians, and/or interprofessional geriatric programs and services. Results from this study will aid in the development of clinical models in collaboration with OHTs and relevant institutions prioritizing older adults living with complex health conditions as a population of focus.
