Impact of post-surgical cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) related infections
Summary
Baseline data on the health status of and cost of care for Ontarians suffering from complications related to CIED surgery is required to better understand the funding implications and requirements of introducing innovative therapies such as this one. The information will provide policy makers and health service delivery partners with evidence on potential models of population health management and funding in cardiac care.
