Summary
The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services is investigating the impact of COVID-19 on marginalized communities. Using the OLIS dataset, the MCCSS will inform the provincial COVID-19 Command Table and Vulnerable Populations Sub-Table. This evidence will provide a more comprehensive picture on the communities that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, such as seniors, women, and those living in low-income neighbourhoods. Research evidence will be used to better address the needs of such populations.
