Kate Mulligan

Biography

Dr. Kate Mulligan is an assistant professor in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the founding senior director of the Canadian Institute for Social Prescribing. As a health geographer, policy researcher, and evaluator, Kate focuses on the role of community-scale leadership and intervention in the production of health, equity and well-being. Kate’s experience in community and public health includes work with many partners including Toronto Public Health, the Alliance for Healthier Communities, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Canadian Red Cross, the National Collaborating Centre for the Determinants of Health, and the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health.
