Biography
Vasily Giannakeas is an epidemiologist and scientist at Women’s College Hospital Research & Innovation Institute and an assistant professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. His research addresses clinically and policy-relevant questions in women’s cancers across the continuum of care, including early detection and screening, comparative effectiveness of cancer treatments, and survivorship. His work often integrates real-world data sources and novel epidemiologic methods to generate high-quality evidence.
