Tanya Hauck

Biography

Dr. Tanya Hauck is an addictions psychiatrist, educator and researcher at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate, doctoral and medical degrees, psychiatric residency and masters of clinical epidemiology degree at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hauck has established a number of novel partnerships in the community facilitating the provision of specialized addiction psychiatry treatment within outpatient and residential Community Addictions Treatment settings. Dr. Hauck is an educator in the area of Stimulant Use Disorder treatment and a leader in advocating for improved access to evidence-based addiction treatment throughout Ontario. Her research interests include pharmacoepidemiology of addictions and the use of administrative data to understand treatment outcomes in stimulant and other substance use disorders.
