Biography

Dr. Dennis Hong is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at McMaster University. He specializes in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology from the University of Western Ontario in 1992. Dr. Hong received his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1996. He completed his residency in the Department of Surgery, McMaster University Medical Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. Then in 2003, he completed a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at the Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon. He joined the Department of Surgery at McMaster University in 2010.
