Dr. Chris Evans is an emergency and trauma physician with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queen’s University. He completed an FRCPC residency in Emergency Medicine at Queen’s University and a Trauma Fellowship at the University of Toronto before joining the department.
His interests in prehospital and trauma care were enhanced by time in the UK, completing a Masters of Evidence Based-Healthcare program at the University of Oxford, and a sabbatical in prehospital trauma care with the London Air Ambulance Service.
He is medical director of the Trauma Program and the Canadian Hospitals Injury Reporting and Prevention Program (CHIRPP) program at KHSC and has research interests in trauma systems, traumatic cardiac arrest, and prehospital care.
