The 2023–2026 strategic plan, Evidence for Everyone, is a high-level outline of ICES’ strategic priorities for the next three years. The plan included input from ICES scientists and staff, board of directors, scientific advisory committee and public advisory council, and key external stakeholders.

ICES is extending its current 2023–2026 Strategic Plan through 2027 to ensure continuity, consistent reporting, and allow the upcoming CEO recruitment process to be completed before launching a refreshed strategic planning cycle.
