As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting regional research, the ICES McMaster site will close its physical facility on March 31, 2026, and the ICES McMaster team will be transitioning to ICES Central. This change does not signal an end to the site’s work or impact. Beginning April 1, 2026, analytic epidemiologists and staff scientists from ICES McMaster will join ICES Central within the Life Stage research program. The group will continue to actively support the ICES McMaster community, and Aaron Jones will continue to lead the site as Director.
All ongoing and future ICES McMaster projects will move forward without disruption, ensuring continuity in research, collaboration, and regional engagement. ICES remains dedicated to supporting and expanding the McMaster research community while maintaining a strong regional presence.
