Learning objectives

Participants will:

1. learn about current COVID-19 epidemiology at the local, national and global levels.
2. review the use of matched cohort and case cohort designs, and their potential utility in evaluating SARS-2 vaccine effectiveness.
3. discuss ethical frameworks related to vaccination mandates and how these might be informed by simple mathematical models of transmission.
