Ontario’s Mosaic of Children’s Treatment Services

Children represent a small but important segment of the healthcare–seeking population; they are consumers of a wide spectrum of healthcare services. This report provides an overview of the distribution, coordination and utilization of common medical treatments to children in Ontario; examines how service utilization varies by District Health Council area; and reports feedback from healthcare providers on solutions for ensuring access to quality treatment.
