ICES scientist Kieran Quinn awarded 2022 Polanyi Prize

Congratulations to ICES adjunct scientist Kieran Quinn on receiving the Polanyi Prize in Physiology and Medicine. The prizes are awarded annually to early-career researchers making significant, ground-breaking contributions to Ontario’s research sector. 

Dr. Quinn was recognized for his research on the palliative care needs of people with heart failure and long COVID. Dr. Quinn is a scientist in the Primary Care & Health Systems research program at ICES and his research interests include palliative care, multi-morbidity and health policy and reform.
