Amol Verma

Biography

Amol Verma is a physician, scientist, and Associate Professor at St. Michael’s Hospital and the University of Toronto, and is the Temerty Professor of AI Research and Education in Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a health services researcher, studying and improving hospital care using electronic clinical data. Amol co-founded and co-leads GEMINI, Canada’s largest hospital clinical data research network, is a Provincial Clinical Lead for Quality Improvement in General Internal Medicine at Ontario Health, and is Chair of the Researcher Council and Board Director of the Digital Research Alliance of Canada and a Board Director of AMS Healthcare.
