Life after breast cancer: generating real-world estimates to inform survivorship care

Description: In a cohort of women diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer between 2001 and 2020 in the province of Ontario the project team will:

1. Determine the incidence of contralateral breast cancer and other second primary cancers.
2. Determine the incidence of treatment-related late-effects.
3. Identify non-breast cancer causes of death. Analyses for each objective will be conducted overall and by treatments received for a first primary breast cancer, age at diagnosis, tumour subtype, prevalence of medical comorbidities, and calendar time.
