Biography

Sujitha Ratnasingham is a senior public health leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing evidence-informed health policy, data partnerships, epidemiology, and population health research across local, provincial, national, and international settings. As Director of Strategic Partnerships at ICES, she leads complex collaborations with government, health system, community, and Indigenous partners to strengthen responsible data access, governance, and use in support of better health system planning and outcomes. Her work spans strategic partnership development, data acquisition, privacy-informed governance, program evaluation, Indigenous data sovereignty, emergency response, and applied epidemiological research.

Sujitha has held leadership and advisory roles with ICES, Public Health Ontario, Toronto Public Health, the Ontario Ministry of Health, and the World Health Organization. She is recognized for bringing together diverse partners, navigating complex policy environments, and translating data and evidence into practical decisions that serve communities.

Sujitha holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, advisory committees, and professional education in health data, privacy, equity, and public health. She is committed to collaborative, community-informed leadership that supports ethical data use, strengthens public health systems, and improves population health.
