Adjunct Scientist (Full Status) ICES North Cancer Research Program

Biography

Mike Conlon is an adjunct scientist within the Cancer program at ICES Central. He completed a BSc (Western) and MSc (Laurentian) in biology, and PhD (Western) in epidemiology and biostatistics. He is a cancer epidemiologist at the Northeast Cancer Centre of Health Sciences North. His current work within ICES focuses primarily on important cancer care issues in Northern Ontario, including access to specialist care, the impact of improving access on patient treatment choice and cancer outcomes, and assessing palliative care delivery and the impact on use of aggressive end of life care.
