The Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics has named Peter Austin the winner of its 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to biostatistics in Canada over the course of his career. Dr. Austin is a professor in the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and a senior scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute.
