The University of Waterloo has announced ICES scientist emeritus Vivek Goel as its seventh president and vice-chancellor. Dr. Goel commences his five-year term on July 1, 2021.
Some of his previous roles include vice-president of research and innovation at the University of Toronto and founding president and CEO of Public Health Ontario.
