ICES is pleased to announce that Geoffrey Rowan has been appointed to the board of directors, effective June 29, 2016. Mr. Rowan is an independent communication consultant and former partner and managing director with Ketchum Public Relations Canada. The board and management look forward to drawing on his expertise as they continue to advance ICES’ profile through expanded data partnerships and research collaborations, provincially, nationally and internationally.
Mr. Rowan replaces outgoing board member Bruce McLellan, president and CEO of Environics Communications, who has retired after six years of valuable service. ICES thanks Mr. McLellan for his wise counsel and dedicated work on behalf of the organization.
The ICES board includes nine directors, each appointed for a two-year term to a maximum of six years.
