ICES scientist Dr. Jack Tu selected as first recipient of the Eaton Scholar Researcher of the Year by the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto

ICES senior scientist and lead of the cardiovascular research program Dr. Jack Tu is the recipient of the Eaton Scholar Researcher of the Year Award in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

The Eaton Scholar Researcher of the Year Award is an alignment of the Eaton Scholar's program with the Researcher of the Year award. Jack was also awarded the 2015 Researcher of the Year Award earlier this year.

The Eaton Scholars program, supported by the Eaton family, is intended to recognize and reward excellence among clinician scientists in the Department of Medicine – an aim shared by the Researcher of the Year award.
