Dr. Astrid Guttmann has been appointed to the key scientific role of chief science officer at ICES effective July 1, 2014. Dr Guttmann has been a part of ICES since 2001, and is the current program lead for the Health System Planning and Evaluation Research Program at ICES. In addition, Dr. Guttmann has been playing a key role in developing an evaluation strategy for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) Mental Health Strategy.
