ICES is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Catherine Zahn to chair of the board of directors, effective June 24, 2015.
Dr. Zahn, who joined the ICES board in 2013 and was appointed vice-chair in 2014, is president and CEO of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. She has made numerous contributions to healthcare in Ontario through her leadership in hospital integration, technology assessment and mental healthcare system improvement.
Dr. Zahn succeeds Dr. Michael Baker who has retired from the board after six years of distinguished service, the last three of them as chair.
ICES is also pleased to welcome new board member Kathy Watts, a retired healthcare executive with a 30-year career in financial and clinical information management. Ms. Watts most recently served as VP, Finance and CFO at Hamilton Health Sciences.
