Description: The overall objective of this project is to establish a surveillance program for opioid-related adverse health events in the Ontario workforce by adapting and expanding an existing surveillance cohort of workers (the Occupational Disease Surveillance System).
Pertaining to this data request, one specific objective of this project is to compare annual incidence rates of opioid-related harms in the ODSS worker cohort to those in the general population of Ontario, overall and according to the demographic, nature of injury, and occupational characteristics of workers.
