Summary
This data request seeks a refresh of an existing dataset depicting suicide among Sunnybrook patients. The Knowledge User will collect information on patients’ interactions within Sunnybrook to help develop a hospital-based quality improvement initiative aimed at suicide prevention. The initial dataset, acquired via a prior AHRQ (2016), was utilized for this same purpose, for which a refresh is required to understand past efforts and future improvements needed. Evidence will be used by certain groups within the Sunnybrook leadership team to interpret and develop further opportunities for suicide prevention initiatives.
