Prescriptions commonly filled during pregnancy and postpartum by people covered by the Ontario Drug Benefits (ODB) Plan (Prescriptions filled during pregnancy and postpartum)
Summary
The study will provide important data on which drugs are filled by pregnant people by trimester and postpartum as well as by different demographic characteristics (e.g., age, rurality). We will also be able to identify trends in prescription drug use in pregnancy over time. The data will help inform an evidence-based approach to our drug review process and future knowledge translation activities through the First Exposure organization.
