The project seeks to establish the incidence and prevalence data of diabetes, COPD, ischemic heart disease and cerebrovascular disease for the purposes of population health assessment as outlined in the Ontario Public Health Standards and requested by Peel Public Health. Peel Public Health will use these findings to make evidence-informed decisions regarding planning, implementation, delivery and
evaluation of public health programs.
