Summary
This evaluation will shed light on the predictive ability and utility of wastewater surveillance, which is crucial in informing public health decision makers’ actions in response to wastewater data. It will also be used to inform resource allocation, and the decision to continue, modify, or halt wastewater surveillance for SARS-CoV-2. In addition, the findings from this evaluation will be used to inform the expansion, continuation, or contraction of other wastewater surveillance programs in TPH, which currently include influenza, RSV, and mpox. These programs do not have sufficient data to be evaluated.
