Summary: The Black Health Equity Working Group and Ontario Health have developed a plan that includes the identification of disparities in health outcomes and healthcare utilization and aims to improve outcomes for Black Ontarians. Two priority areas identified in this plan include wait times to surgery specialists and cancer screening both exacerbated by service delays during COVID-19.
