Differences in healthcare utilization and associated costs of Home Mechanical Ventilation users
Summary
In May 2020, the Ontario Ventilator Equipment Pool initiated a Long-term In Home Ventilator Engagement Program (L.I.V.E.) as a multi-component intervention to facilitate patients relying on home mechanical ventilation. The research team is interested in determining at the impact of L.I.V.E. program on healthcare use and associated costs during covid-19 pandemic (from May 2020) compared to those not enrolled in the program.
