Summary: Niagara Region has adopted the long-term goal of zero “fatalities and serious injuries” (Vision Zero). To achieve the goal, the Region is currently developing a five-year Road Safety Strategic Plan (RSSP). Development of the RSSP involves collection and analysis of data related to traffic collisions. This data analysis allows us to identify collision trends and hot-spots.
