Summary
Health service utilization analysis comparing across LTC residents and to similar individuals living in community settings. The evidence and insights gathered would help inform the Ministry’s policy analysis and decisions on how models of long-term care are delivered, and the role homes could play in providing services and responding to the health care needs of residents. This could help better meet long-term care residents’ care needs and potentially be a more efficient use of health care system resources.
