While some may not survive, others have problems with development and behaviour in later life. One way to prevent bleeding into the brain is to plan for a caesarian delivery when the mother is known to be a carrier or has a bleeding condition herself. Through caesarian delivery, babies can avoid the trauma associated with passing through a narrow vaginal canal.
