Fractures begin in early childhood but rates decline gradually during adolescence and further upon cessation of growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary objectives:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. To estimate the incidence and prevalence of OI in Ontario, Canada<br \/>\n2. To describe the demographics of OI patients diagnosed in Ontario, and their comorbidities<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secondary objectives:<\/strong><br \/>\n3. To describe the therapies received by OI patients in Ontario<br \/>\n4. To characterize the burden of illness (BOI) [i.e., the direct healthcare costs and healthcare resource utilization (HCRU)], including clinical outcomes and fracture rate, among OI patients diagnosed in Ontario<br \/>\n5. If feasible, describe BOI and treatment patterns by fracture history<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exploratory objective:<\/strong><br \/>\n6.
