As the disease progresses, RCC can be treated with nephrectomy and drug therapies such as immunotherapy and targeted therapy. Despite its relatively high burden, the population burden of RCC is not well described in the published literature, especially as the disease progresses. The proposed study looks to quantify the disease burden of RCC along the RCC patient journey using administrative data health at ICES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Research objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify RCC patients and their distribution by disease progression within the health administrative data held at ICES.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe the characteristics of these cancer patients in Ontario, including: incidence (i.e., new patients); prevalence (i.e. existing patients); and demographic and clinical characteristics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Status<\/strong>: Completed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>August 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Client: IQVIA Solutions Canada Inc.
