He is the co-founder and Chair of the Canadian Paediatric Inpatient Research Network (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pirncanada.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PIRN<\/a>), which is focused on generating research evidence to improve outcomes of hospitalized children in general pediatric settings, and co-leads GEMINI-Paediatrics. Dr. Gill&rsquo;s patient-oriented research program focuses on improving the care and outcomes for hospitalized children on the general paediatric ward. His research has advanced the care and management of common and serious childhood infections, such as bronchiolitis and orbital cellulitis.
