Dr. Kuenzig is an assistant professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University, as well as an associate scientist at the Children\u2019s Health Research Institute in London, Ontario. She is an investigator with the Canadian Gastro-Intestinal Epidemiology Consortium (CanGIEC) and a member of its Scientific Committee. She is also a member of Crohn\u2019s and Colitis Canada\u2019s Scientific and Medical Advisory Council and the Steering Committee for The Canadian Children Inflammatory Bowel Disease Network (CIDsCaNN). She also leads the CIDsCaNN Health Services Research Committee.<\/p>\n
Dr. Kuenzig\u2019s research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) epidemiology and health services research using routinely-collected health data \u2013 aiming to understand environmental factors that are associated with an increased risk of developing IBD, developing a more severe disease course, and understanding how patients interact with the health care system.
