I am an assistant professor of medicine and a clinician-investigator in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Ottawa, staff gastroenterologist at The Ottawa Hospital and associate scientist at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. I am also cross-appointed to the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa. My research interests are in the areas of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), gastrointestinal cancer and pharmacoepidemiology. My research program largely uses health administrative data to study the clinical and cost impacts of current paradigms of care and to develop personalized models of care.
