Dr. Ziv Harel completed medical school at the University of Western Ontario, and an internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Toronoto. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in 2009. Following his fellowship training, he completed a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Healthcare Research through the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation, at the University of Toronto. Thereafter, he completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Women’s College Research Institute in the pharmacologic management of chronic disease in older adults, and a Veteran’s Health Administration Quality Scholars (VAQS) Fellowship. Dr. Harel is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Toronto, and his clinical practice focuses on general nephrology.
