She holds an appointment as associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto, and is a practicing endocrinologist at St. Michael&apos;s Hospital in Toronto. In addition to her research, Dr. Booth is actively involved in a number of committees and organizations, and was a member of the expert panel that developed the 2003 Canadian Diabetes Association Clinical Practice Guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Booth completed her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen&apos;s University and a Masters of Science degree in Pharmacology prior to graduating from medical school at the University of Toronto in 1993.
