Ann Burchell is an Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) scientist, director and co-principal investigator of the OHTN Cohort Study (OCS), a longitudinal study of over 6,100 people receiving HIV care in Ontario. She holds degrees in epidemiology from the University of Toronto (MSc) and McGill University (PhD) and has academic appointments as assistant professor, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto; adjunct professor, Division of Cancer Epidemiology, McGill University; and adjunct scientist, ICES, Toronto. Ann has extensive experience conducting and managing research on the epidemiology of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, human papillomavirus (HPV), syphilis, and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
