Dr. Susan Brogly is an epidemiologist whose research interests include perinatal epidemiology, addiction, surgical outcomes, and the application of innovative methodologies in medical studies. Dr. Brogly has published over 40 scientific articles, served on grant review boards for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Centers for Disease Control, and the March of Dimes, and is a recipient of the Boston University School of Public Health Excellence in Teaching Award and the Randall Coates New Investigator Memorial Award. Dr. Brogly’s research has been supported with grants from the US National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the American Cancer Society, Queen’s University, and other organizations.<\/p>\n
Dr. Brogly joined Queen’s Department of Surgery in 2014 after spending 12 years in Boston where she held appointments as a faculty member of the Department of Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health (2009-2014) and a research faculty member at the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research at the Harvard School of Public Health (2002-2009). Dr. Brogly teaches in Queen’s Public Health Sciences Department and the Department of Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health.
