The DiverseCity Fellows are emerging leaders from various sectors who have made an impact in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. CivicAction&#x2019;s DiverseCity Fellows program provides opportunities for emerging leaders to further develop leadership and increase their impact. <\/p>\n<p>&#x201c;These emerging leaders are already on track to have a big influence on our region, but the DiverseCity Fellows program will accelerate this tenfold,&#x201d; said Sevaun Palvetzian, CEO of CivicAction.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Chiu&#x2019;s research is focused on the social determinants of health, mental health and addictions, and chronic diseases and conditions. She is also particularly interested in racial\/ethnic differences in chronic disease risk.
