Since 1992, ICES has applied our unique mix of data and research expertise to improve our healthcare system and the health of the people of Ontario. Our work to date has done some pretty amazing things, such as helping pull unsafe drugs from the market; tracking the diabetes epidemic across the province; showing how where you live affects your health; laying the ground work for legislation banning driver cellphone use; and showing that health strategies like smoke-free campaigns drive down healthcare costs. <\/p>\n
