Fellows are elected to the Academy by national and international peers in recognition of their contributions to the promotion of health science. This honour is considered one of the highest for leaders in academic health sciences in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Baxter conducts health services research on cancer screening and surgery, as well as evidence-based medicine and healthcare quality.
